I want to play it for a while and I am still on the fence if I will ever replace the stock P-90s. Additionally, I want to address the comments on the ability for the Wildkat to play Metal effectively and the traditional buzz on the P-90s when utilizing a heavy dose of distortion/overdrive . I will say that using transparent overdrive really makes the Wildkat sound fantastic, especially with the neck pickup. My first comment is I really don't see Metal players running out to buy the Wildkat just based on aesthetics alone, but I tend to think generalizations are stupid. You can get a lot of tone out of this guitar, but if your setlist has a fair amount of harder, distortion laden songs, then maybe you would want to swap these out. I really love this guitar and it is a keeper.
